Who Is Pathfinder Mortgage and Investments?

George Pihakis II was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where he was president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and graduated in 1974 with a B.S. degree in marketing. Following graduation, he spent the next 20 years in the Financial Services Industry of which 7+ years were spent as a stock broker; at Dean Witter Reynolds and at Robinson Humphrey, both in Birmingham; and then after moving to Florida in 1982, at Dean Witter Reynolds in their Galt Ocean Mile office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In 1985, he moved to Orlando, Florida and began working with his family in their life insurance business, Southern Security Life Insurance Company, where he was Vice President and a top producer each year.

In 1994, George formed Pathfinder Mortgage and Investments, Inc. to invest in real estate mortgages. He is President and CEO, and his vision for Pathfinder Mortgage and Investments, Inc. is to provide clients with innovative and customized solutions to achieve liquidity and achieve their financial goals. With each client, his focus has, and will always be, on building lasting client relationships thru integrity.  He likes the challenge of problem solving so that each client’s needs are satisfied.

In his personal time, George enjoys spending time with his wife of 23 years and their English Cocker Spaniels at the beach and in the country. He is the CFO of The Pathfinder Group, Inc., his wife’s interior design business. He’s also gifted at coaching Little League Baseball, where he’s been able to coach and mentor kids for over 40 years, creating lasting relationships with numerous athletes and their families. He’s an avid Alabama College Football fan, and has volunteered to serve on various Boards and Organizations throughout the years.
